Job Description

  • Substitute nurses may be assigned daily or in advance for longerterm or scheduled substitutions.
  • All applicants must pass CORI and fingerprint background checks as per Massachusetts state law.
  • All applicants must provide copies of their current valid nursing licenses.
  • Fulfills school nurse responsibilities during the building nurses absence
  • Administer routine medical care dispense medication and provide first aid treatment to students
  • Notify parents of illness and accidents which occur during school hours and fill out appropriate accidents form
  • Keep daily log of students seen in health room
