General Duties:
- ControlTrafficat the assigned school crossing in such a way as to protect the safety of the school children using the crosswalk.
- Ensure that there are not any children in the street whiletrafficis moving.
- Be alert for potential or presenttraffichazards in the vicinity of the assigned school crossing: defects in sidewalk curbs crossing to be painted and defects in the roadway.
- Reporttrafficviolations and problems with conduct on the part of unruly students parents or motorists to the School Principal (or School Resource Officer).
- In contact with the parents guardians and children at their crossings.
Schedule: 2 hours per day (morning and afternoon shifts)
