Job Summary:
As an Asset Associate I within the Custody Asset Service team you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of controls checks instructions and queries. Your role will involve managing group email boxes and internal enquiry management tools to resolve queries within the prescribed service levels. You will collaborate with various teams to address operational issues and manage your workload to meet both team and departmental objectives. Additionally you will review and update processes to minimize risk provide support and training to enhance the client experience and assist in managing the instruction process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of Controls Checks Instructions and Queries on a daily basis.
  • Manage group email boxes and internal enquiry management tools to resolve queries within prescribed service levels.
  • Collaborate with Product Network Management Sub custodians and vendors to resolve operational issues.
  • Manage individual workload to meet team and departmental deadlines and objectives.
  • Review and update processes or procedures to minimize risk and improve operations.
  • Provide support guidance and training to enhance the global client experience.
  • Adhere to all departmental procedures policies checkpoints and controls.
  • Assist the Senior Manager in managing the instruction process and balancing team workloads.
  • Review manual Controls for Timely and Checks for accuracy.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Essential financial services background ideally within a Custody or Asset Servicing environment (Income / Corporate Actions).
  • Proven track record of risk reduction in a riskbased environment.
  • Experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment learning documenting and implementing new processes efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written with management clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills:

  • Relevant degree education preferred; nondegree candidates with a proven track record will be considered.
  • Experience with Asset Servicing operating systems/platforms preferred (TCS BaNCS or thirdparty vendor management advantageous).
  • Knowledge of market processes requirements and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in team development and management.
