Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist Hand Therapist
Location: 1731 East Hallandale Beach Blvd Hallandale Beach FL
Schedule: Full Time Monday Friday 3240 hours a week
Compensation: $76000$86000/year. Starting hourly rate increases with experience. Plus a $5000 Bonus
We are seeking a Full Time Hand TherapistOccupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center located in Hallandale Beach. Newly licensed Occupational Therapists with fieldwork level 2 in hand therapy (preferably with Select Medical) and experienced Hand Therapists apply! Join our clinical team 4PTs 2 PTAs and 1 OT treating a general ortho population. Hand Therapist will treatvarious upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries sprain strains postoperative fractures etc. Splinting experience preferred. Best practices and evidencebased programs are utilized for individualized patient care.
Our locations are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post surgical nonoperative to work conditioning. You will have the opportunity to work closely with excellent hand surgeons. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the evaluation plan of care treatment reevaluation discharge and appropriate communications of high quality therapy services to patients and customers.
- Develop treatment plans supervise assistants and aides contribute to case management and provide quality patient care.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy.
- National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start.
- Occupational Therapists with a minimum of 1 yr recent hand therapy experience or newly licensed Occupational Therapist graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy
- CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Valid state drivers license
