Job Description
NOVO currently has an opening for aCDLA Truck Driverfor our distribution warehouse in Allentown PA.Dedicated truck local routes. Home nightly limited potential for overnights straight truck with some potential 36/ 53 trailer work will go into NYC.
Novo Building Products is an industryleading manufacturer and distributor of stair parts mouldings doors and specialty millwork along with a variety of board products. Based in Zeeland Michigan Novo Building Products operates Ornamental Decorative Millwork L.J. Smith Stair Systems and Novo Direct.
Just as our products are used to build something new and inspire others to make living spaces more beautiful we endeavor to positively impact the people and communities we touch every day.
Our CDLA Drivers deliver millwork products to customers in a designated region.
Pay starts at $26 per hour DOE. ***MAY INCLDUE NYC***
CDLA Drivers receive:
- Newer (dedicated) tractors and trailers
- Limited overnights
- 53 Trailer with Side Curtains orstraight truck with some potential 36/ 53 trailer work
- Paid Breaks fueling time trip inspections
- No touch freights No lumpers
- No Backhauls
- Dependable/driver focused dispatch
Primary Job Duties:
- Represent NOVO Building Products in a courteous and professional manner
- Follows all safety procedures
- Adheres to all local/state/federal Department of Transportation regulations when making deliveries
- Keeps fuel trip sheets and DOT logs up to date
- Secure loads by ratcheting down straps
- Open and close curtains on trailer to facilitate loading and unloading
- Supervises unloading and maintains all delivery/pickup related paperwork.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Open and close curtains on trailer to facilitate loading and unloading
- Secure loads by ratcheting down straps
