Job Description
Laredo Medical Center is looking for a Plumber for our Facilities Department. This position assembles installs and repairs pipes fittings and fixtures of heating water and drainage systems according to specifications and codes. Studies building plans and inspects structure to ascertain work to be done and tools needed. Responsible for basic repairs to building systems and equipment. Skilled in craft or trade if needed. Experience in trouble shooting basic electrical and mechanical equipment. A basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is required. Must be able to operate computer software.
Job Requirement Include:
Education:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Required: Must be computer literate.
- Required: Must read write and speak English proficiently.
- Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience:
- Required: Three 3 Five 5 years experience in general maintenance.
- Required: Experience in operating and caring for equipment and tools building systems or crafts / trades.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Required: Valid drivers license
- Required: Plumber Journeyman license
