Job Description
Cloud Engineer Consultant
Location: Brussels
Job Type: Full Time/ Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive cloud strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.
- Provide expert advice on cloud architecture migration paths and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and technical requirements.
Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation:
- Design scalable secure and highly available cloud architectures using platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Lead cloud migration projects ensuring seamless transitions from onpremises to cloud environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or ARM templates.

Optimization & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to optimize cloud performance cost and security.
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management processes.
- Monitor and maintain cloud environments ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices.

Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including developers operations and security to deliver integrated solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams.

Continuous Learning & Innovation:
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies trends and best practices.
- Experiment with new tools and approaches to continuously improve cloud solutions.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: 35 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform CloudFormation or ARM.
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Language Requirements:
- English: Fluent (mandatory)
- Dutch and/or French:Fluency in either one is a must.
