Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Host Cashier you will be responsible for monetary transactions. You will also set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
Position Status: PartTime
Location: Gold Strike Casino
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure procedures are being followed.
Operate the POS system.
Handle money and credit transactions.
Notify the manager on duty of any guest concerns.
Perform other jobrelated duties as requested.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
One 1 year of Food & Beverage Cashier or equivalent experience in a cashhandling position
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in a very highpaced and stressful environment.
Knowledgeable of a Point of Sales (POS) system including handling all monetary/credit transactions; including working knowledge of computerized cash registers.
Knowledgeable of food and beverage operations and procedures.
Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe cigar and/or cigarette smoking. An ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours weekends and holidays may also be required.
