Job Description
Summary: Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner using a professional and customer servicefocused approach.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans patients/residents rooms common areas ancillary areas restrooms locker rooms halls offices and any other areas that require attention
- Cleans light fixtures ceilings vents walls mattresses furniture windows/window coverings floors and carpets
- Cleans by dusting mopping vacuuming and sweeping replenishes supplies moves furniture and hangs draperies
- Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedure
- Performs general maintenance as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check
