Job Description
Landmark Builders is seeking a fulltime highly experienced Senior Estimator in its WinstonSalem NC office.

Landmark Builders offers general construction design/build construction management and upfit/renovation services throughout the Carolinas Georgia and Virginia. Our primary markets include industrial distribution office retail education healthcare hospitality and senior living construction.
Job Summary
Working as an integral part of the Landmark Builders preconstruction team this Senior Estimator will provide estimating services across all market segments and all delivery methods including designbuild construction manager designbidbuild negotiated guaranteed maximum price and lump sum commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and lead bid teams for larger projects providing direction and guidance to junior estimators.
- Thoroughly study plans and specifications and visit sites as necessary to confirm all project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Development Managers clients and design teams as needed to deliver accurate estimates through the various stages of preconstruction.
- Establish and maintain relationships with the local subcontractor community and maintain an active database of subcontractors.
- Prequalify new subcontractors as required to provide good sub coverage and quality estimates for regional (outoftown) projects.
- Schedule and manage multiple estimates coordinating with Project Development team as necessary to confirm delivery schedules are clearly understood.
- Provide detailed and accurate estimates with accompanying supporting documents to include all necessary takeoffs and vendor quotes.
- Indepth understanding of construction types methods materials and building systems
- Knowledge of cost of materials trades building types and systems as well as general conditions overhead and profit
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with Landmark preconstruction team customers designers and vendors clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of basic construction scheduling and critical path schedule drivers.
- Working knowledge of CSI divisions and how construction projects are priced and bought out.
- Proficiency with computer spreadsheets (Excel) and ability to learn new estimating software.
- Bachelors Degree in related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
- 10years of experience as a commercial construction Estimatorpreferred.
- Proven track record with previous project list including client/design team information.
