Job Description
Macon R1 School District is looking to fill two 2 Student Aide positions at our newLittle Tigers Preschool programfor theschool year.
As part of our team you will:
- Work in a community of great people that support you
- Be equipped with skills to identify and resolve trauma impacts as part of a trained Trauma Informed District

- Have dedicated professional development days focused on teacher development collaboration and planning activities
This is a fulltime position working with children getting ready to start Kindergarten. Essential functions may include but are not limited to the following:
- Create and maintain a safe clean and organized classroom environment.
- Manage childrens behavior with positive discipline techniques.
- Provide individualized attention to each child recognizing their developmental needs.
- Develop and implement ageappropriate plans that align with early childhood education.
- Foster a love of learning by encouraging curiosity exploration and creativity
Minimum Qualifications:
- Employment will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check and fingerprint check by the Missouri State Highway Patrol
