Position Summary
The Dr. Bonnie G. Metcalf School of Education is accepting applications for an Instructor position in Teacher Education at California Baptist University Riverside California. The position will start in August 2024. Though all areas of teacher education will be considered special attention will be given to those with expertise in both multiple subject and special education. The successful candidate joins a dedicated interdisciplinary team to strengthen and build the various Teacher Education programs at the undergraduate and graduate level. The primary duties will include teaching courses within the SOE . Candidates must embrace the mission of California Baptist University and evidence a clear understanding of and commitment to excellence in teaching scholarship and service as well as the integration of Christian faith into their work. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Masters degree or higher Relevant teaching experience with K12 students Evidence of expertise in Early Childhood Education Elementary Education Special Education STEM Education or related areas Ability to teach students across a wide diversity of cultures and ages Knowledge of edTPA Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree or ABD candidate 5 years or more teaching experience in diverse K12 settings Evidence of effective and innovative teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate level
