CNC Turner (Nights)

Salary: 25.00 per hour (including 33 shift uplift on 19.00 basic)
Location: Newbury West Berkshire
Hours: MondayThursday 19:0007:00 (Night Shift 4 nights per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a worldclass motorsport OEM manufacturer in Newbury. With a full order book and continued investment in the latest technology the company is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their busy night shift team.

As a CNC Turner youll be producing precision components for highperformance applications with minimal supervision using topend CNC lathes and Fanuc controls.

CNC Turner Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC lathes (Okuma with Fanuc controls)

• Editing programs at the machine

• Machining to tight tolerances for motorsport and aerospace applications

• Performing selfinspection using verniers micrometers and calipers

• Supporting a clean and efficient machining cell during night operations

CNC Turner Requirements:

• Proven experience setting operating and editing CNC turning programs (Fanuc)

• Background in aerospace motorsport or precision subcontract machining

• Skilled in using selfinspection tools to verify part conformance

• Experience with Vericut (desirable but not essential)

• Comfortable working independently in a fastpaced night shift environment
