Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible to maintain greens of the golf course and surrounding areas based on department standards.
Job Duties:
- Maintain sand trap areas.
- Operate equipment in order to maintain the area (e.g. blower weedeater watering equipment setup).
- Mow and maintain greens tees roughs and approaches.
- Hand water designated areas.
- Maintain and repair irrigation system (Greenskeeper II).
- Apply fertilizer insecticide fungicide appropriately (Greenskeeper II).
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Greenskeeper I:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be able to safely utilize hand tools and landscaping equipment.
- Must be able to lift push and carry heavy objects (see Physical Requirements)
Greenskeeper II:
- The above plus previous experience in golf maintenance preferred.
Compensation:
Base Pay Start Rate:$21.00
