Job Description

Assembly Technician 1st Shift
Location: Incom Charlton MA

We are currently looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detailoriented dependable and eager to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Position Summary:

As an Assembly Technician you will perform a variety of manual tasks to assemble complex fiber components into draw units that support our precision manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small and delicate components with precision to meet quality and customer requirements
  • Work with engineering teams on special product and project builds
  • Select appropriate materials tools and instructions needed for each assembly
  • Complete all necessary steps in the assembly process to ensure highquality output
  • Accurately document production information and maintain records
  • Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
  • Read and interpret routing sheets and process documentation
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Consistent work history and strong reliability
  • Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Comfortable working with small fragile components
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and build complex assemblies
  • Experience using microscopes or precision inspection tools is a plus
  • Proficiency in English including speaking comprehension reading and writing at a level necessary to effectively perform job duties
  • Strong manual dexterity fine motor skills and visual acuity
  • Ability to lift carry and move up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening
  • Reliable transportation to work required
