Job Description
Assembly Technician 1st Shift
Location: Incom Charlton MA

We are currently looking for an Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detailoriented dependable and eager to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
Position Summary:
As an Assembly Technician you will perform a variety of manual tasks to assemble complex fiber components into draw units that support our precision manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble small and delicate components with precision to meet quality and customer requirements
- Work with engineering teams on special product and project builds
- Select appropriate materials tools and instructions needed for each assembly
- Complete all necessary steps in the assembly process to ensure highquality output
- Accurately document production information and maintain records
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Read and interpret routing sheets and process documentation
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Consistent work history and strong reliability
- Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Comfortable working with small fragile components
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and build complex assemblies
- Experience using microscopes or precision inspection tools is a plus
- Proficiency in English including speaking comprehension reading and writing at a level necessary to effectively perform job duties
- Strong manual dexterity fine motor skills and visual acuity
- Ability to lift carry and move up to 50 lbs
- Must pass a preemployment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to work required
