Role Summary

Birmingham has a proud and illustrious sporting history and we are looking to appoint a Club Development Officer (CDO) to continue this tradition. The CDO plays a key role in the delivery and development of student sport through the provision of an efficient and effective support service to all sports clubs particularly in providing long term sustainable development of the sports club infrastructure to enhance the University of Birminghams commitment to enhancing the student experience.

Main Duties

Club Development and partnership working

With 55 clubs providing opportunities to over 4200 students the CDO is expected to grow and improve the support offered to the student committee members and coaches of the 55 student clubs.

Coach Development and Support

Club Development Financial Administration

The CDO will provide excellent administration support to ensure the smooth running of the Club Development team and student sports clubs focussing on financial administration.
