Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented Accounting Clerk Payables tosupport our Accounting Team. This position is ideal for someone with one to twoyears of experience in accounts payable bookkeeping or general officeaccounting. You will be responsible for processing vendor invoices managingpayment schedules maintaining records and supporting the team with variousdaytoday accounting tasks.
KeyResponsibilities
- Process andpost vendor invoices with accuracy
- Matchpurchase orders packing slips and approvals
- Handlepayment runs and vendor check processing
- Research andresolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintaindigital and physical records
- Help withdeposits fuel log reports and reconciliations
- Assist withmonthend closing tasks
- Support theaccounting team with special projects
Requirements
Qualifications
- One to twoyears of experience in accounts payable bookkeeping or a similar role
- Dealershipexperience preferred but not required
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
- Highattention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortableworking independently and with a team
- High schooldiploma or GED required; accounting coursework or associates degree a plus
