Job Description

Description

Leads the work of others. Provides resolution to client issues and maintains customer service and support. Assumes responsibility for specimen integrity on specimens received in the laboratory. Provides leadership and problem resolution. Assists supervisor and manager in planning section goals and procedures for accomplishing goals. Uses analytical skills necessary to research routine information needed for accuracy and completeness of laboratory testing. Uses organizational skills to maintain information on patient test orders and department work flow. Associates degree as MLT or in a related field. Min two years laboratory related experience. Requires basic knowledge of specimen integrity and preservation laboratory equipment operation and maintenance with ability to perform routine laboratory support.
