The Opportunity
This position will report directly to the Card Implementation Manager part of the broader Onboardings & Implementations Team.
You will be responsible for ensuring we successfully implement & configure new customer card programmes via our Card Schemes (VISA & MasterCard). This includes ensuring we receive all relevant Scheme approvals (configuration settlement tokenisation designs etc. in a timely manner and that our internal BIN/Portfolio Management processes & controls are correctly followed while leading our customers & implementation project managers to launch their card products efficiently and effectively within agreed & tight timeframes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Scope & implement new card (Visa & Mastercard) programmes BINconfigurations & setups for customer launches using our standard framework product offering validated against our new customer requirements
- Ensure Settlement Services are used & configured correctly ensure the best FX & settlement outcomes for both our customers & Railsr.
- Ensure Tokenisation submissions & configurations are completed correctly and on a timely basis ready for future digital & wallet card programme solutions.
- Drive card design & marketing approvals with the Schemes in the most efficient & timely manager (being an expert in the business around the approval requirements).
- Execute the relevant Scheme & BIN setups & configurations inline with the overall customer card programme requirements and agreed timelines (including followups & escalations with the Schemes as required).
- Support the assigned Implementation Project Manager & collaborate with our other internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who together are supporting the programme launch including but not limited to Processor Card Bureau and Mobile Wallets SMEs.
- You will have knowledge of scheme requirements card fees/pricing process/SLA limitations and its impact to the overall of our Card Implementation projects
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records and MI provision related to Scheme products process changes/mandates BIN and other relevant configurations.
- Building and maintaining a strong understanding & adherence to Railsrs internal platform & implementation processes
- Building consultative professional and strong relationships with our customers & implementation project managers through regular and open communications for example conducting & documenting Scheme meetings actions and providing regular Scheme guidance throughout their implementation journey to ensure successful & timely launches.
- Generate lead & implement Scheme/BIN process improvement ideas on a regular basis
Your Profile
Skills & Experience
- You will have 5 years of relevant experience in Card Implementations (or closely related) Projects that handle a diverse range of implementation responsibilities with particular focus on BIN/Scheme configurations setups & oversight including any necessary direct customer engagement.
- Strong knowledge of the Schemes (VISA & MasterCard) processes its products requirements & delivery teams preferably in an Issuer implementation team (exposure to Processors Card Bureaus Card Data/PCI vendors etc. is desirable)
- Strong knowledge of implementing BINs Settlement processes etc. at Visa and Mastercard and the associated processes is essential for this role
- Strong working knowledge of Visa/Mastercard Rules including card design approvals brand requirements etc.
- Experience working with BIN sponsorship and an understanding of the implementation process.
- You will have knowledge of the Schemes Tokenisation processes & requirements (having knowledge of the Apple Pay and Google Pay implementation processes is desirable).
- Experience of providing outstanding customer service.

- Extreme attention to detail ensuring BIN & Scheme configurations are accurate and incorporate our constant lessons learned from previous implementations.
- Great collaboration and being a true team player are essential for this role. Delegation wont be possible all the time so handson action tracking & as well as working through roadblocks & details with colleagues & team members is required.
- Strong stakeholder management is key to be successful in this role. You will have a variety of audiences to work with: Scheme implementation & technical teams Railsr Implementation Project Managers other vendors/processors Customer technical teams etc.
- A confident and articulate manner with an ability to adapt interpersonal styles dependent upon the audience.
- Extremely well organised and able to prioritise a large and varied workload including managing/escalating conflicting and/or moving timelines.
