About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 14 two middle schools for grades 58 and one high school for grades 912.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing appropriate research based treatment to minimize adverse impact on students success; and providing education and direction to school staff family and related service providers regarding the students communication needs. Requirements & Qualifications
Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from an ASHA accredited university is required. MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license is required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) is preferred. Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
Wages: LongTerm Substiute Certified Staff Rate withappropriate Certification from PELSB: $249.55/day.
Benefits: Available but without district contribution.Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)will be provided as required by law.
