Job Description
Open to remote work except in South Dakota Vermont and West Virginia.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $138400.00 in our lowest geographic market to $327200.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidates location qualifications skills and experience.Information about benefits can be found here.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a Leader who can Build Coach Drive and Encourage technology teams. This highly selfmotivated Senior Engineering Manager needs to be comfortable with fastpaced DevOps environment and develop a vision and longterm goals for tech teams to serve our Nikes Technology. You will need to demonstrate your experience knowledge of industry trends and personal creativity to develop innovative solutions which delight our customers. This role will help drive technical decision making and solutioning for the team as they build highthroughput lowlatency faulttolerant Payments solutions to drive Nikes Digital transformation and growth strategies.
What will you work on
You will build and deliver the technical runway for existing and new technology capabilities to support highdemand systems within the Payments space. You will rely on your understanding of scalable highly available and consistent distributed systems to design world class solutions. Who will you work with You will be directly leading software developers and other squad resources to effectively build deploy and support applications that provide value for the business. As a successful Senior Engineering Manager you will also work within the leadership team to partner with Product Program and Architectural counterparts to navigate ongoing feature development. This role does require the candidate to interact with partners and interested parties in Nikes other offices and locations to coordinate plan and ultimately deliver. You will report into the Senior Engineering Manager or Director for your capability area.

Being a leader at Nike the Senior Engineering Manager is required to have outstanding communication skills for which to represent and speak for the team. It is also crucial to be able to clearly communicate industry best practices implement the right technical trends and avoid antipatterns.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in leading technical teams and come from a strong digital technology background (developing teams building scalable cloudbased applications).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Payment vendor integration and PCI standards is also desired.
- Additional tech expertise required: REST AWS Java CD/CI Git SQL and DynamoDB
