About The Role

Were seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to orchestrate the data needs for Solar Landscape driving actionable insights through robust analytics solutions. This critical role will involve designing and implementing analytics strategies defining and tracking KPIs and developing comprehensive reports to support datadriven decisionmaking throughout the organization. Working closely with our data engineering team youll transform data into meaningful business insights that propel Solar Landscape forward.

Responsibilities

    • Design develop and implement analytics strategies to deliver actionable insights and drive datadriven decisions across the company.
    • Define measure and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to subscribers solar assets renewable energy credits and business operations.
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to gather requirements understand business processes and ensure alignment with analytics solutions.
    • Build and maintain robust reporting frameworks and dashboards utilizing tools such as Power BI to clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
    • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure efficient reliable and accurate data pipelines and data integration to support analytics.
    • Lead the identification and analysis of trends and opportunities within complex datasets.
    • Use Jira for task management to support efficient transparent and collaborative development cycles.
    • Oversee data quality integrity and security ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
    • Stay current on emerging analytics trends technologies and methodologies recommending enhancements to our analytics capabilities.

Requirements

    • 5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering Business Intelligence Data Analytics or a related field.
    • Proven expertise in defining KPIs building reporting frameworks and developing insightful data visualizations.
    • Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools especially Power BI.
    • Strong SQL skills with experience in querying analyzing and optimizing complex datasets.
    • Experience with cloudbased analytics solutions particularly Microsoft Azure including Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory or similar services.
    • Experience collaborating with distributed teams including offshore developers.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Excellent analytical problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
    • Effective communicator comfortable working across technical and nontechnical teams.
    • A passion for clean technology and using software to accelerate positive climate impact.

Nice to Have

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 PowerApps or related Microsoft data platforms.
    • Prior work in the energy clean tech or infrastructure industries.
