Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
BASIC FUNCTION:Serve as assistant to chief in assigned facilities. Responsibilities may include coordinating staff schedule maintaining inventories and supplies conducting basic building safety inspections providing basic maintenance and repair to equipment and building facilities; and performing duties of lower level staff. This position requires continuous use of independent judgment. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the operations department.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Constant standing and walking. Frequent bending stooping reaching pushing pulling. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 10 ft.
WORKING CONDITIONS:Frequent inside outisde and exposure to extremes of temperature/humidity
