Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze science engineering business and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems leveraging analytical skills to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimization.
Analyze user requirements procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems working closely with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements and assist in translating them into technical specifications for system enhancements or new system implementations.
Review computer system capabilities workflow and scheduling limitations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains and provide support in making recommendations for system enhancements or reengineering efforts.
Assist in evaluating and analyzing commercially available software solutions to determine their suitability for addressing specific business needs and provide input in making recommendations for software acquisitions or integration with existing systems.
Collaborate with senior analysts software developers and other IT professionals to contribute to the design and implementation of computer systems that align with organizational objectives and user requirements ensuring that systems are scalable reliable and secure.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to system analysis requirements and design and assist in the development of systemrelated policies and standards.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices and provide input in making recommendations for system enhancements and improvements to support the organizations operational and strategic objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active TopSecret Clearance
- Active IAT II certification
- 5 years of experience analyzing science engineering business and other data processing problems to improve computer systems.
- Bachelors degree in an IT related discipline (preferred).

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $96000 $114000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
