Senior Business Analyst Finance Transformation Freelance
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in a finance transformation project aimed at optimizing and industrializing our reporting processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the financial services industry and a strong ability to analyze improve and enhance reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to develop a comprehensive project plan establish governance structures and oversee project scope and stakeholder engagement.
- Perform indepth business analysis to identify areas for process improvement and assess potential risks.
- Contribute to defining the global architecture of the reporting solution ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and technology capabilities.
- Organize and lead workshops fostering productive discussions and decisionmaking among stakeholders.
- Translate workshop insights into actionable plans and tangible deliverables.
- Challenge existing processes provide strategic recommendations and drive meaningful transformation.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably within the FSindustry.
- Proven expertise in reporting transformation projects with strong knowledge of finance reporting data management and Power BI.
- Solid understanding of reporting architectures and technologies.
- Solutionoriented and businessfocused with a keen ability to translate business needs into effective solutions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills capable of working seamlessly with crossfunctional teams.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Fluent in English with proficiency in French or Dutch being a strong advantage.
While this role primarily focuses on business analysis the successful candidate will also contribute to project management activities as needed.
