Position Summary: The Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing various accounting and financial support tasks. Key Duties / Responsibilities: - Expense report review and processing (Concur)
- AR customer check processing and posting
- Accounts Payable (AP) checks and assist in mailing them to vendors; vendor setup requests; assisting AP with PO processing
- 1099 preparation and processing annually
- Support daytoday Accounts Receivable (AR) functions as needed
- Perform additional duties and adhoc reporting as requested or assigned
Education / Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary training in a related field is preferred
- 2 years of relevant work experience required2 years of relevant work experience required
- Concur experience preferred
- Excel experience preferred
Job Knowledge / Requirements: - Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in basic business math skills including the ability to read and prepare data
- Competence in operating a 10key calculator
- Critical success criteria include accuracy and attention to detail an organized approach to work effective time management and commitment to confidentiality
- Computer skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Google applications
- Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of the team adapting to changing requirements deadlines and priorities as needed
- Clear and professional communication skills through listening speaking and writing; maintaining professionalism and solutionsfocused interactions with others including customers
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: - General office positions may require some reaching bending stooping squatting crawling kneeling pushing pulling lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds finger dexterity repetitive motions standing walking sitting hearing visual acuity color vision and twoway written/verbal communication.
