Job Description

This role will be overseeing all aspects of vendor management including vendor selection contract negotiation performance monitoring relationship building quality assurance cost management risk management compliance oversight continuous improvement communication technology integration conflict resolution sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) capacity planning and documentation and record keeping; overseeing transport management including carrier selection mode selection shipment tracking load optimization regulatory compliance risk management sustainability initiatives continuous improvement and technology integration; leading cost analysis over logistics operations including cost breakdown activitybased costing (ABC) benchmarking vendor cost negotiation route optimization inventory carrying costs technology utilization labor cost analysis sourcing strategies capacity utilization and cost reporting; and leading the logistics team including strategic planning team management resource allocation performance monitoring training and development process optimization communication problem resolution continuous improvement crossfunctional collaboration emergency response planning and data analysis.

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Logistics Supply Chain Management or a closely related field.
Work Experience Requirements: Five 5 years of progressive professional work experience in logistics project management including supply chain optimization; transportation management systems including TMS; warehouse management systems including WMS; inventory control software; and experience with data analysis risk assessment and stakeholder communication.
Additional Requirements: 6 Sigma Certification.
