We invite qualified child psychologists/psychological associates to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together within our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Division at Atrium Health Levine Childrens Hospital in Charlotte NC. Our dynamic team currently consists of 4 developmental and behavioral pediatricians 6 advanced practice providers 3 psychotherapists 1 psychologist 2 speechlanguage pathologists and an excellent social work clinical and clerical support team. In addition the successful candidate will be integrated with the Psychology and Neuropsychology Division at Atrium Health featuring 8 Pediatric Psychologists 3 Pediatric Neuropsychologists and 3 psychometrists. We have an Autism Clinic a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Clinic and are part of the NICU Follow Up Clinic Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic and Feeding Clinic. We see a wide variety of cases and have locations in Charlotte and Concord NC.
The psychologist/psychological associate will evaluate children with a wide range of disabilities and we anticipate the successful candidate to see a wide variety of disorders and be a part of the Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Clinic and Learning Disabilities Clinic. Successful candidates for this fulltime nontenure track faculty position must have completed an APAaccredited doctoral program APAaccredited internship and fellowship with training in pediatric child clinical psychology or be licensed as a psychological associate. The successful candidate will have experience with formal psychological and/or neuropsychological testing diagnostic interviewing skills and behavioral/cognitivebehavioral intervention with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum training and proficiency in the ADOS2 and ADIR is required.
We welcome applicants with interests or experience in training practicum students and/or postdoctoral fellows. Candidates must be a licensed or licenseeligible pediatric or clinical psychologist or psychological associate in NC. Salary and benefits are competitive.
Job Summary
This is a senior level position that provides behavioral health services to patients in a community mental health setting. The primary responsibilities consist of psychological assessment for diagnostic purposes and direct treatment by individual family and group psychotherapy.

Works in a patient care area with potentially combative or selfdestructive patients. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner. Work requires walking standing lifting reaching and handling of charts and supplies.
Education Experience and Certifications
Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA approved training program required; license eligible or currently licensed as a Licensed Practicing Psychologist from the N.C. State Board of Examiners of Practicing Psychologists required. BLS required per policy guidelines.
