We are looking for a highly analytical and datadriven FP&A Data Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. In this role you will play a crucial part in shaping our financial data foundation driving insightful analyses and enhancing decisionmaking through data visualization and reporting. You will work closely with Finance Revenue Operations and other stakeholders to drive impact and generate insights through developing dashboards automate reporting and ultimately contribute to the implementation and management of FP&A software. What youll do
Build & Maintain Financial Data Infrastructure Develop and maintain a scalable financial data foundation that ensures accuracy consistency and reliability.
Develop Dashboards & Reports Create insightful Power BI dashboards and reports to support financial planning forecasting and business decisionmaking.
Enhance Financial Analyses Conduct indepth analyses of financial performance trends and key business drivers to support strategic initiatives.
Automate Reporting & Processes Improve efficiency by automating financial reporting and streamlining data flows.
Collaborate with Stakeholders Work closely with FP&A Accounting and Business Intelligence teams to align financial insights with business objectives.
Implement & Own FP&A Software Support the selection implementation and ongoing management of FP&A tools to enhance financial reporting and planning capabilities.
Support AdHoc Data Needs Respond to adhoc data requests and contribute to financial modeling scenario planning and strategic decisionmaking efforts.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors Degree (Required): Finance Accounting Economics Business Analytics Data Science or a related field.
Masters Degree (Preferred but Optional): MBA (Finance) masters in data analytics or a related field can be an advantage
Professional Certifications (Preferred but Optional):
Power BI/SQL Certification Validates expertise in data visualization and database management.
Chartered Accountant (CA) Cost Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Demonstrates strong financial and analytical expertise.
Years of Experience: 48 Years:
Experience in financial planning & analysis data modeling and financial reporting.
Proven track record of working with financial data building dashboards and automating reporting processes.
Additional experience in implementing and managing FP&A software.
Expertise in collaborating with crossfunctional teams and handling complex financial models.
Technical Skills (Preferred):
Proficiency in Power BI (or Tableau) for data visualization.
Advanced SQL knowledge to extract manipulate and analyze data.
Experience with financial modeling budgeting and forecasting.
Knowledge of ERP/financial systems (especially NetSuite).
Additional Considerations:
Domain Expertise: Prior experience in SaaS technology or softwarebased companies is a plus.
Project Management Skills: Experience in managing data projects or process automation can add value.
