We are looking for:
Contingent Emergency and Nursing Licensed Veterinary Technicians

Every day is different andtheresnever the same case twice!
What youll do:
- Record and deliver organized rounds discusscasesand gatheradditionalinformation as necessary
- Evaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessment
- Partner with patient care teamregardingtreatment plans client communication and nursing care concerns
- Provide client education including but not limitedto:home care instructions medications (indications adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patients
- Assist DVM with patient assessmenttreatmentand procedures
- Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients
- Induce andmonitorgeneral anesthesia and sedation procedures
- Perform inhouse laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testing
Who you are:
- State Registered Veterinary Technician licenserequired
- Prior veterinary experiencerequiredpreviousemergencyexperience desired
- Proficientincalculations( constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.
- Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation:
This position has an initial hiring range of $24.00 to $34.00 per hour based on skillset and experience. We support our weekend and overnight caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:
Hours worked between 8pm and 11:59pm base pay $2/hour
Hours worked between 12am to 7:59am base pay $3/hour
Hours worked on Weekends (day or night) base pay $1/hour any applicable differential
