Job Description

Overview

Are you a Speech Language Pathologist (SLPCCC) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population If so our Rehab Team at Briarwood Continuing Care Retirement Community in Worcester MA is seeking its next employeeowner team member.

This role will be scheduled hours weekly between 3040 hours (benefit eligible as full time status)

Unfortunately we cannot new grads for this role.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) you will establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans along with developing and implementing clinical and educational SLP programs. As a member of our interdisciplinary team you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

  • Be a graduate of an accredited school for Speech Language Pathologists.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCSLP) from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA)
  • Hold CPR Certification (or obtain/renew prior to start date)
  • Hold a valid or pending (for newer graduates) state license.
  • Its great to have had acute care longterm care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
