Safety Health Environment and Quality Advisor
Approximately $120000 Inclusive of Super plus Tool of Trade Vehicle

Ventia is looking for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to join our Defence contract team in a fulltime permanent role. Based in Rockingham or East Fremantle with regular travel to Defence bases across WA youll play a key role in providing leadership advice and support to maintain compliance and drive operational excellence at all WA Defence sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor Safety Management Plans and ensure compliance with SHEQ policies
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards
- Investigate safety incidents identifying root causes and providing corrective actions
- Facilitate training and inductions fostering a culture of safety across the team
- Conduct internal and external audits and support continuous improvement programs
- Partner with leadership to ensure compliance with contractual KPIs and nonconformance management
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety Environmental or Quality Assurance
- Lead Auditor or incident investigation qualifications (ICAM preferred)
- 2 years of experience in safety environmental and quality roles ideally within construction or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of SHEQ legislation and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience in risk management audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to effectively mentor and influence internal and external stakeholders
