The Department of Health & Rehabilitation Sciences in the School of Health and Clinical Professions College of Health Sciences invites qualified candidates to apply for the OpenRank Clinical Track and Director Master of Science Athletic Training position located on Tarletons main campus in Stephenville Texas. Individuals interested in this position must have a passion for working with rural and/or underserved communities and the desire to advance the role of athletic training in traditional and emerging settings. This is a 12month appointment. Work hours: MonFri; 8 AM5 PM or as work and teaching requirements indicate. Requires the ability to teach and/or work remotely at the Universitys discretion.
The Program Director is responsible for providing leadership and support for faculty and staff in the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program following guidelines set forth by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) Standards for the Accreditation of Professional Athletic Training Programs. This includes the planning and continued assessment of the programmatic framework including but not limited to its didactic and clinical components. The Program Director will also work to recruit and retain wellrounded faculty staff and students.
