Were looking for a Buying Assistant to join our Merchandise Team supporting one of our biggest and most dynamic categories. If youre organised love retail and thrive in a fastpaced environment this is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart or grow your merchandise career.
What Youll Do:
Youll provide vital operational support to the Buyer and ensure smooth daytoday category management including:
- Writing and managing purchase orders including vendor followups
- Article creation and maintaining accuracy in SAP
- Managing markups and markdowns with correct pricing updates
- Handling admin tasks across daily weekly and monthly cycles
- Analysing merchandise reports to support trade decisions
- Managing product samples and promotional admin
- Coordinating shipments and timelines with internal teams and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate supplier and overseas agent contact information
What Youll Bring:
- 12 years experience in a retail support office or storebased role
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong analytical skills and a datadriven mindset
- Great communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
