Job Description
The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location ranging from $85900 to $107375
Responsibilities
Lead a team of support staff and contractors to deliver capital inspection programs for the NYSEG and RG&E companies. Apply best practices across the companies in accordance with Avangrids standard practices. Ensure project resources have the correct toolsets and processes in place and that all relevant staff is trained and equipped to successfully deliver their work. Position is responsible for the delivery of business and regulatory requirements within the Electric Operations Organization. This position will be assigned a storm role and be expected to support Avangrid in storm restoration efforts. This includes travel throughout Avangrid as needed.
Skills and Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree in engineering business or related field with 35 years relevant experience.
- Associates Degree with 10 years experience.
- Experience leading implementation of complex initiatives/projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of utility operations stakeholders and customer interaction.
- Direct experience in business case development and benefits capture.
- Demonstrated experience in the of strategic objectives.
- Proven track record of achieving results in high pressure and high profile assignments.
Skills/Abilities:
- Energizing leader that possesses strong interpersonal communication and facilitation skills be detailoriented thorough and resultsfocused.
- Selfstarter able to work well in new and undefined environments.
- Strong skills in following up and following through with action items and dependencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including formal presentation skills.
