Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Material Control Analyst to join our team in Huntsville AL. This position will support manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Determine and Report on production shortages daily.
• Update delivery dates.
• Communicate critical delivery information to Management.
• Work with purchasing to determine PO deliveries.
• Work with Receiving and Quality to expedite material through their respective departments.
• Provide clear to build dates for scheduling purposes.
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong personal and organizational skills attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Additional duties as deemed necessary.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Bachelors degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree a High School diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience will be considered
• Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Candidate must have the ability to work with department leadership to contribute to strategic planning and longterm vision.
• Candidate must have experience reading and interpreting Bills of Material
• Candidate must have a valid drivers license and sufficient driving record to perform delivery and pickup activities as necessary.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a cohesive team environment.
• Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama AL area.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a final secret clearance
