Description

The department of Dermatology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an accomplished & dedicated Academic Faculty Physician to join the team.

Responsibilities:

Clinical Efforts: The position offers clinical involvement in various areas including General Dermatology Mohs Surgery specialty clinics & Cosmetic Dermatology.

Research Efforts: Dermatologist will be able to collaborate with our onsite clinical studies unit (conducting phase 2 & 3 clinical trials). There is opportunity to work within our esteemed Center for Dermatologic Research in investigatorinitiated research (in partnership with research fellows & renowned dermatologist Dr. Steve Feldman).

Educational Efforts: Physician will play a vital role in educating & mentoring medical & PA students as well as residents from Dermatology Pediatrics Internal Medicine & Family Medicine. Opportunities to teach within Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the preclerkship or clerkship curriculum are available. Leadership opportunities within our Dermatology residency program will be available for consideration.

Requirements:

MD/DO
BC/BE
Fellowship trained
Successful record of clinical and service excellence research experience and interest in graduate medical education
North Carolina licensure or eligible
