What Will You Be Doing
As a Mill Assistant at Spectro Alloys your role is essential in making sure the operations run smoothly and efficiently. Youll be working with aluminum s operating equipment and ensuring safety standards are met. Whether youre moving materials with a forklift or helping troubleshoot systems youll play a key part in keeping things moving.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sorting and Separating: Distinguish and separate contaminants from the shredded aluminum (like red metals air bags circuit boards etc. and place them in the correct containers.
- Operating Equipment: Use a forklift and frontend loader to move s metal and ensure the systems run smoothly.
- Maintenance Support: Assist Maintenance when needed to get systems up and running quickly.
- Safety First: Follow safety guidelines wear protective equipment and report hazards or safety concerns.
- Communication: Work closely with the operator and production team to ensure efficient operations.
Who Were Looking For:
- No previous experience required (well train you!.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced handson environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow detailed directions.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Able to perform tasks in both hot and cold environments.

- Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in both heat and cold environments (we keep it real but weve got you covered with safety gear)

Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Previous experience in a physical handson role (manufacturing or trades experience a plus)
