Lifeguard Anna Ohio
Parttime; up to 15 hours per week
HealthFitness is looking for Lifeguards to join the aquatics team at our corporate client site located in Anna OH. As a lifeguard you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor and ensure safety and wellbeing of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency.
Attend all required staff meetings and training.
Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by cleaning and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
Maintain a professional attitude.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 16 years old.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
Be dependable alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to preemployment drug test.
All lifeguards must be able to perform basic lifeguard skills consisting of:
300 yard swim.
Active Passive Submerged rescues.
Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.
Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.
