Position Overview: Perform tasks and assignments to support Systems Engineering in design development testing and documentation of our maritime electronic systems to include sonobuoys within the engineering disciplines such as Mechanical Electrical Software and Acoustics.

Primary Responsibilities:
- SupportSystemsEngineersinavarietyoftasksandassignmentstoincluderequirements management test management documentation and reporting
- Tasksincludepreparingstakeholder/customerrequirementdocumentstobeimported intothe requirements management requirement allocations reporting gaps and providing traceability to implementation requirements
- Facilitatetestactivitiestoassistwithconductingtestingdocumentingresults and create traceability reports
- Participateinreviewprocessandcoordinateactivitiestoconductrequirementsreviewspeer reviews and inspections of requirements documents
- Supportpreparationofsystemengineeringcontractdeliverabledocumentation
Secondary Responsibilities:
- SupportProjectManagementandAssistwithtrackingandstatusofBillofMaterials(BOMS)in buildup of prototypes for testing verification and validation
- Facilitatedocumentinganddevelopmentofprocesstrainingmaterials
- Participateinandlearnduringtrainingandone on one session andreceivementorshipfromproject managers and engineers to gain new skills
- Otherassignmentsmaybeadded/adjustedasapplicable
Requirements: Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Current class standing of sophomore or above 30 credits).
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to work onsite in De Leon Springs FL
