JOB TITLE:
Instructional Aide and Program Planning Assistant
JOB PURPOSE:
Formalizing the Intensive English Program (IEP) structure and coursework
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties involve curriculum design for Reading (IEP 0803 Speaking & Listening 0703 and Integrated Skills 0903 courses. Similar work and planning will also be required for the English Communication Course designed specifically for students visiting from the Shanghai University of Sport (SUS). Additionally the position will build and revise IEP SUS and EAP (English for Academic Purposes) WyoCourses infrastructure. Duties also include reviewing and writing syllabi and assisting and advising UW international students related to their academic English language needs.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
This on campus position will be a vital member of the ELC team through coordination with instructors and staff and collaboration with the Global Engagement Office atlarge.
