Job Summary
The Mobile Healthcare Coordinator (MHC) contributes to IHCs mission and goals of client satisfaction quality of care and productivity; oversees and ensures the effective and efficient management of the overall operation of the mobile healthcare units through cooperative policy development regular monitoring and followup. Ensures compliance with federal and state laws and regulations IHCs mission vision values and strategic plan; performance objectives and accreditation standards.
Reports to: Senior Director of Corporate Operations
Direct reports to this position: Mobile Healthcare Employees
Operational responsibilities
- Develop implement and maintain the Mobile Healthcare business plan ensuring timelines goals and objectives are achieved.
- Oversees all operational functions of the Mobile Healthcare unit.
- Coordinates with community partners to meet needs of service areas.
- Will manage direct reports including but not limited to recruiting interviewing teaching coaching mentoring performance reviews disciplining developing professionally.
- Ensures regular maintenance and as needed service is provided to the unit in a timely manner.
- Manages clinic operations and employees to meet annual goals and objectives.
- Develops and trains staff; continuously improves processes service and outcomes.
- Initiates and leads weekly meetings to discuss financial reports variance reports productivity outreach patient issues and unit issues.
- Monitors provider productivity and works with staff to adjust workflows policies and procedures and staff as needed.
- Will attend PMM QPI and other corporate meetings as needed

Physical demands and work environment
Majority of work is nonstrenuous with some onsite work at or visits to migrant farm camps produce processing centers and other offsite locations; some albeit limited potential risk from disgruntled or disoriented patients employees and/or field environment. Must be able to operate a Class A motorhome and general office equipment.
- Practice management experience in a health care setting preferably with community health center.
- Three 3 to five 5 years of management experience required clinical management preferred.
- Valid Drivers License travel to IHC service area locations throughout the state.
