The Role

The Director FP&A will be a key member of the corporate finance team managing the strategic planning budgeting and forecast process in support of the Senior Vice President of Global Contact Centers & Franchise System Support. The functions directly supported include areas under the Contact Center organization consisting of General Reservations Signature Reservation Services Customer Care Wyndham Rewards Customer Service and Workforce Planning and areas under the Franchise Support Services consisting of HTCS Systems Support My Request Hotel Technology and Strategy Implementation and Operations Support Desk. This individual will work cross functionally to gain alignment across senior leadership on budgeted company initiatives. This position is responsible for managing the Global Contact Center financials as well as managing the Franchise Support Services financials which include $53M in revenue and $37M in expenses while ensuring that resources are efficiently managed and investments are allocated to generate the highest possible return. This position will provide financial and strategic support to senior management including financial presentations financial modeling & driving process improvement. The position will serve as a key member of the WHR financial leadership team and serve as a business partner supporting senior executives within revenue generating areas and assisting to operationalize & measure key strategic initiatives. This role will report into the Sr. Director FP&A.

What youll do

  • Oversee management and of all departments budgeting financial forecasting operating plan & modeling.
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
  • Identify and analyze how changes in strategic and new initiatives will impact financial performance of WHR.
  • Prepare financial presentations to senior executives.
  • Drive an efficient effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analyses that link to the strategic objectives of WHR.
  • Oversee annual quarterly and monthly financial reporting responsibilities.
  • Supervision of support team of 2 Senior Analysts ensuring they are effectively delivering our Count on Me culture to their business partners providing accurate financial support in support of our earnings process and continue to grow professionally.

  • Ability to work under pressure and facing tight deadlines while not sacrificing accuracy of work.

  • Ability to offer beliefs and opinions while also being open to other suggestions.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelors degree in finance Accounting or related field.
  • At least 1012 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
