This position will service Muskegon Oceana and Mason county areas.
About the unit
Our Visiting Nurses Association is our Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for WestCentral areas of Michigan. We are accepting applications from experienced RNs LPNs and New Grads! For experienced RNs this is an autonomous position that drives you to use all of your top nursing skills and critical thinking. Working in home health enables you to treat the patient in the comfort of their home where patients are able to thrive and own their own health care. We create personalized assignments close to home that enable our nurses to visit between 57 patients per shift. From Ludington to Baldwin to Nunica and south through Kent County Ottawa County and as far south as Gun Lake our Corewell Health West Visiting Nurses Team goes the distance to provide outstanding patient care
Scope of Work
As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health providing topnotch patient care is paramount. Youll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans unit routines and hospital policies. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse youll be a vital part of our team making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
- CRTNursing Assistant Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Community and Health Systems Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Community and Health Systems 90 days
- LICDrivers License STATEMI State of Michigan Hospice Caring Circle Hospice except Hanson Hospice Center NRS Home Care and United/Kelsey/Reed City CNAs who transport patients offsite
Upon Hire - CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) AHA American Heart Association United/Kelsey Big Rapids Reed City Gerber & Continuing Care (except Hospice) BLS certification required for Caring Circle Hospice. 90 Days Or
- CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) ARC American Red Cross United/Kelsey Big Rapids Reed City Gerber & Continuing Care (except Hospice) BLS certification not required at Lakeland Pine Ridge long term care facility. BLS certification required for Caring Circle Hospice. 90 Days
