Fairleigh Dickinson University is the largest private (notforprofit) university in the state of New Jersey USA with approximately 12000 graduate and undergraduate students and more than 100 degree programs ranging from the Associate of Arts (A.A. to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). The University was founded in 1942 and has four campuses in three countries. The Universitys two main campuses are located in New Jersey the Metropolitan Campus in TeaneckHackensack (near New York City) and The College at Florham in Florham ParkMadison; its two remaining campuses are international one in Wroxton Oxfordshire England (established in 1965 and the other (its newest campus) in Vancouver British Columbia Canada. The Universitys Vancouver campus currently offers accredited professional degree programs with majors in Business Administration and Information Technology. The Vancouver campus boasts an excellent and dedicated core of full and parttime faculty; a new stateofthe art facility; small class sizes; close working relations between students faculty and staff; and an intensive and unrivaled student support system focused on individual student success. FDU Vancouver is seeking sessional lecturers for the following courses during the Spring 2019 term. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however Canadians and Permanent Residents will be given priority. PhD or terminal degree is preferred although doctoral students with teaching experience and applicants with professional qualifications will be considered. Please forward your cover letter and updated cv to Dr. Jill Reid at ACCT 2022 Intro to Managerial Accounting This course continues with an introduction to the functions of accounting in a business environment from a managerial accounting perspective. Topics covered included basic inventory costing breakeven analysis cost behavior budgeting and standard costing. This honors course covers additional topics not covered in the regular introductory course: Activity based costing process costing NPV .
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a relevant masters degree along with CPA certification. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
