OFFSITE CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT Upland CA
Lewis Planned Communities a division of the Lewis Group of Companies one of the largest real estate developers and property management companies in the nation has an immediate opening for an experienced candidate for the career of Offsite Construction Superintendent.
In your role you will act as an Owners Representative responsible for quality control and subcontractor coordination for developing masterplanned residential industrial multifamily and retail projects throughout the Inland Empire area of Southern California. The position will report to the VP of Land Development Operations.

Your duties:
- Meet with Subcontractors field superintendents daily to keep track of work progress and schedule.
- Inspect and enforce adherence to specified project grading utilities offsite infrastructure site work etc. details.
- Report any requested field deviations to Project Managers and the VP of Land Development Operations and recommend course of action.
- Monitor and report on various City and Public Agency inspections and approvals.
- Enforce strict adherence to approved plans and specifications with the Subcontractor and installation crews.
- Participate in department status meetings.
- Monitor and report on the general progress of projects.
- Manage construction site and multiple subcontractors work.
- Manage construction schedule.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals of work.
- Coordinate field surveys and soil inspections.
- Conduct weekly field construction meetings.
To be successful your skill sets will include:
- 7 years of offsite field experience with a general contractor or land developer supervising and/or working grading offsite infrastructure and site work for residential and/or commercial projects.
- Must be proficient at reading and interpreting architectural & engineering plans.
- Strong problemsolving organizational and communication skills.
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience required.
- Webbased project management software experience such as Procore is highly preferred.
Note: reliable transportation and valid drivers license are required for driving on company business to project sites and other meetings.
