The Space Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. We work build and operate bespoke technically complex missioncritical systems which help our clients keep us all safe and secure. We bring innovation to our clients using proven and emerging technologies agile delivery processes and our deep expertise across the breadth of space defence intelligence aerospace and maritime all underpinned by our endtoend cyber capability. We work collaboratively with global technology companies cutting edge SMEs and academia to deliver the optimal solution for each client.
We are looking for senior midlevel developers to join the team and support us in creating mission critical solutions for our exciting range of projects and programmes within the space and defence domain.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer you will:
Write well designed and efficient code.
Contribute in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Work closely with the project team including testing / design authority / project management to ensure all work is completed to the required standard.
Produce and execute unit tests.
Carry out peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Understand and deploy a range of methodologies/frameworks.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You need to have proven experience of:
Handson Java C# Python JavaScript C or React software development experience.
Working in an agile environment.
Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Strong knowledge of the SDLC.
Excellent problemsolving ability and development logic.
