Job Description

Business Development Sales at Unilock: Drive New Business Growth

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Sales to join our sales team. This key role focuses on aggressively prospecting and securing new business to drive growth within the GTA. Reporting to the Sales Manager the Business Development Sales will be instrumental in expanding Unilocks market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek out and identify new business opportunities through new and dormant Contractors to expand Unilocks footprint.
  • New Business Development: Follow our strategies to identify potential clients and convert them into longterm customers.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and dormant contractors to foster loyalty and gain repeat business.
  • Product Education: Educate contractors on proper product installation techniques and business practices to ensure successful project and business outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Continuously learn about current and new product lines and trends as the industry develops.
  • Presentations and Training: Organize and deliver compelling Unilock presentations to potential clients and partners.
  • Networking: Participate in industry seminars conferences and local association trade shows to build a strong network. Become deeply involved with social media groups and platforms to gain awareness of potential contractors and represent our brand.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets using CRM.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as needed to support the ongoing success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: College or University degree preferred.
  • Languages: Fluency in English; French and Chinese are considered assets.
  • Sales Skills: Coachable passionate about sales able to measure performance skilled in negotiation and determined to close deals.
  • Organization: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
  • Industry Experience: Background in landscape design or landscape construction is a plus. An entrepreneurial mindset and competitive spirit are a must.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced presentation skills. CRM experience is a benefit.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to pass a criminal background check and hold a valid Ontario drivers license.
