Job Description

Position Summary
The LSU Health Sciences Center LSUHSC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking applicants for a fulltime Urogynecologist at the rank of Assistant Professor Associate Professor and Professor (nontenure clinical track). The primary focus of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Urogynecologist will be the clinical care of urogynecologic patients at LSUHSC supervision and teaching of urogynecology fellows obgyn residents and medical students and conducting of clinical research. Clinical responsibilities will include office practice in urogynecology officebased procedures and gynecologic surgery. The successful applicant will demonstrate an aptitude for and dedication to medical education including direct teaching of medical students residents and fellows in various clinical venues. Candidates must have demonstrated capability and experience providing evidencebased and patientcentered ObGyn care and in collaborating and coordinating care in clinical teams that enhance the patient experience with a commitment to excellence in clinical care patient safety and patient satisfaction.
