If youre a selfstarter who enjoys working independently and is looking for a great opportunity Regions Hospital is looking for an Operating Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be responsible for 85 building maintenance and 15 operating procedures for high pressure boilers chillers and related will be essential to have the ability to repair / rebuild electrical mechanical plumbing air compressors electronic / pneumatic controls hydronic heating pumps high / low pressure steam pneumatic tube system and HVAC systems across entire hospital campus as well as operating and maintaining boilers chillers air conditioning electrical compressed air and mechanical equipment. You will be responsible for trouble calls in the hospital and all other related duties as assigned.

Work schedule: FTE: 1.0 40 hrs. weekly) Night Shift

Required Qualifications:

Operating Engineer:

Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 3 years of experience that qualifies for 1st class B engineers licensure OR successful completion of operating engineer technical college apprenticeship program.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

Must possess a First Class B Minnesota State Engineers license (minimum).

Must possess a valid Minnesota State Drivers license.

Compensation: 1st class Engineer license: $45.38 hr. plus 3rd shift differential $3.60 hr. with additional weekend differential of $1.00 hr.

Provisional:

Minimum Qualifications: Experience:1 years of experience that qualifies for a 2nd class B engineers licensure OR successful completion of operating engineer technical college apprenticeship program.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

Must possess a Second Class B Minnesota State Engineers license (minimum). Will need to have 1st class license within three years to maintain employment.

Must possess a valid Minnesota State Drivers license.

Compensation:

2nd class A or B engineer license: $41.16 hr. plus 3rd shift differential $3.60 hr. with additional weekend differential of $1.00 hr. Will revive full scale when receiving 1st class engineer license.

Operating Engineer Trainee:

Experience: Experience to have a Minnesota special or lowpressure license

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:Must possess a current Minnesota State Engineers License Special (minimum). Must be able to obtain 2 B provisional (Minimum) class license within 2 years and pass competencies to maintain employment.

Must possess a valid State Drivers license.

Compensation:

Join Regions Hospital with a low pressure or special boiler license for $37.22 and work your way up to 1st class license $45.38 hr. plus 3rd shift differential $3.60 hr. with additional weekend differential of $1.00 hr.
